To celebrate the Monterey Bay Aquarium’s newest exhibition, Into the Deep: Exploring Our Undiscovered Ocean, we developed this limited edition, small-batch chocolate bar Deep, Dark & Salty. Co-created by Monterey Bay Aquarium’s Executive Chef Matthew Beaudin and TCHO’s Chief Chocolate Maker Brad Kintzer, this 74 percent dark chocolate is made with locally sourced ingredients, including sea salt from Big Sur Salts and sea lettuce from Monterey Bay Seaweeds. A dark chocolate bar salted by the sea, Deep, Dark & Salty is as mysterious as our undiscovered ocean. One bite, and you’ll float off on a bold and briny journey, beginning with rich, fudgy cacao brightened by flaky sea salt and ending with the utmost umami from super fresh seaweed. This one-of-a-kind chocolate experience will leave your taste buds wanting to dive in for more. Made with organic, fair trade, and completely traceable cacao.
