Our Gorongosa
Every cup of coffee has a story. Ours is from Mozambique. In 2015, Our Gorongosa partnered with specialty coffee experts and local farmers to plant Arabica coffee and rainforest saplings in Gorongosa National Park. Today, we work with more than 600 farmers who earn a sustainable income from their coffee harvests while supporting the rainforest at the same time. We purchase green coffee beans directly from our farmers and send them to our specialty roaster in Boise, ID who expertly blends them with other sustainably-sourced beans from around the world.
The result is an amazing cup of coffee with impact. 100% of the profits from every bag of coffee sold go back to Gorongosa National Park. These profits support girls’ education, wildlife conservation, and rainforest reforestation activities that benefit our farmers, their communities, and the ecosystem they call home. Our goal is for 20,000 girls to receive a high school diploma, 250,000 large mammals to thrive, and one million rainforest trees planted by 2035. Together, we can create a world where people, wildlife, and the planet thrive together.
