During the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, Cosmos Food was the proud supplier of Kimchi to a restaurant in the Olympic Village. It was the first time in the history of the Games that Kimchi was served to the athletes – and it was such a hit that it has become a regular menu item for the Olympic Village restaurants. Since then, we have grown to become the largest manufacturer and distributor of Kimchi in the United States from our original factory in Los Angeles, CA and now in City of Industry, CA.
